Yesterday, I had to opportunity to partner with SFA and shoot the MLK Jr. Service Day around town. Over 150 SFA students and members of the Nacogdoches area community came together in memory of Dr. King and helped Nacogdoches ISD with some beautification projects around town.
There was a short ceremony in the Grand Ballroom and then the volunteers headed out to their assigned locations. I got to snap some pictures Brookes-Quinn Jones Elementary and Raguet Elementary. It's always great to be involved with people who are freely giving of their time and energy for the common good of their community.
Many thanks to Randi Cooper for getting me involved with the program. I'm sure you'll see some of these photos in publication or PR stuff sometime soon.
As always, you can check out THE WEBSITE for the all the pictures. Enjoy!
